There is nothing like hosting a show at the Calgary Stampede. The venue was perfect. Lights strung from the ceiling set the festive tone for launching our new Pets Canada trade show brand and celebrating our 35th Anniversary. 80’s era music flowed through the venue which complimented the wild decade-specific attire worn by some exhibitors. Kudos to everyone who really got into the spirit of things! Along with over eighty exhibitors and 320 attendees (representing over 1450 outlets selling pet products), western pet businesses truly came to town.

It was fantastic to have so many people in attendance to help celebrate the Canadian Pet Community Awards AND our 35th year at the Sunday evening cocktail event! Board Chair, Craig Brummell of Essex Top Crop did a heartfelt toast as people enjoyed the event’s signature drink, a Blue Ma-cocktail. What made it even more special was the wonderful sponsorship support from Pan Pacific Pet for both the awards and cocktail and a visit from Mike Bober, CEO of our sister association, the Pet Advocacy Network in the US.
