Ontario based PawzNDogz, the trusted brand for snuffle mats, has had its products certified Plastic Negative. The company is partnering with repurpose Global – the world’s leading Plastic Action Platform – to fund the recovery of twice as much nature-bound plastic waste as it uses across it’s products and packaging. This action on plastic waste by PawzNDogz is part of a wider plastic action strategy that includes optimization of waste generated by the company operations.

Through this partnership, PawzNDogz is enabling the removal of over 300 lbs of plastic waste each year (equivalent to 8,658 plastic bottles and 28,400 plastic bags) that would otherwise end up polluting the natural environment. The company is supporting rePurpose Global’s impact project “Saaf Samudra” in Goa, India to collect and process plastic that is low value and unlikely to be recovered from the environment.
