Without a doubt the Quebec pet industry always brings amazing energy to a room.  Over two very busy days, businesses from across Quebec and the Maritimes converged on Drummondville and got right to work filling the aisles and engaging exhibitors. The result was a vibrant, dynamic show floor that truly showcased the strength and passion of our industry.

Thank you to our brilliant sponsors for their unwavering support and belief in our amazing pet industry. It means a lot to have you stand by our side.

To support Quebec’s pet businesses, Pets Canada hosted two key seminars addressing some of the year’s most pressing issues. On Sunday, André Ashe from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) provided guidance on navigating Quebec’s updated French language laws related to marketing, naming, and labelling. Pets Canada Members who were unable to attend can access this presentation by logging into their account on the CFIB website.

As the second-largest pet market in Canada, Quebec offers valuable insights into industry trends and consumer behaviour. On Monday, NielsenIQ analyst Cédric Bélanger presented the Canadian Pet Sector Performance Report, sharing the latest data on Quebec’s market size, growth patterns, and purchasing habits.

The most exciting moment at the shows was our celebration of the nominees and winners of the Pets Canada Community Awards, Quebec, providing an incredible evening to cap off day 1 of our Drummondville Show

The Pets Canada Community Awards were a huge success, with an amazing turnout to celebrate the passion, dedication, and impact of our industry.
